With everything I’ve learned and experienced playing and coaching at the college level, I can confidently say that talent itself is not enough to be successful as a student athlete. Your overall mindset as an athlete is just as important to your success as talent. I’ve seen what it looks like when players lack in areas outside of talent and I’ve seen players come to college unprepared. It is a great time to be a student athlete and there are so many great OPPORTUNITIES through sports! Therefore, now is the best time to invest in this book! Don’t just grow your talent, grow your mindset too! Then, you have no choice but to succeed as an athlete and in LIFE!

We've all seen and heard stories of talented athletes not reaching their full potential or messing up their opportunities...DON'T LET THAT BE YOUR STORY!

If you want to improve your chances of being a college basketball player...become a good shooter! You can be born an athlete but you cannot be born a shooter! I know we are in the personal training era, and I believe personal trainers are needed...I am one myself. However, it is important for players to be able to go to the gym alone and still be able to get better. Unfortunately, a lot of players get by themselves in the gym and don't necessarily know what to do. Use this video when working on your shot alone and become the best shooter that you can be! Focus on making at least 10 shots for each drill and then work your way up. If you consistently do these drills and focus on your makes, you will see the improvement in your shot! Becoming a good shooter is all about repetition! The more you practice it the better you become!
